Business Challenge
In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Screen Skills Ireland was confronted with a significant challenge of needing to ensure workplaces had a COVID-19 Compliance Officer who would be able to plan for, manage and monitor the risks posed to workers by the COVID-19 virus. Due to the urgency for the audio-visual sector to return to work and the limitation of workplaces requiring a trained Compliance Officer, training had to be available within a short time frame. More importantly, it had to be comprehensive enough for the Compliance Officers to adequately undertake their new role.
“This was the first time I had worked on an online, non-tutor led course and I was not sure what to expect nor how much information I needed in advance of the project. The Learning Rooms brought me painlessly through the process from start to finish, including setting up a Learning Management System. They provided excellent advice on the running order of the course and how to make sure the learner was constantly engaged and could relate to the course material. Due to the nature of the course we needed to turn this around very quickly and The Learning Rooms pulled out all the stops to deliver the course on schedule. I was so pleased with the finished product, which exceeded my expectations.”
