The Challenge
Sword Security have a large number of staff in locations throughout Ireland, such as Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway, as well as across the globe. As well as that, Sword Security were recruiting large number of staff who would work different shifts and were located in different time zones. This made Sword Security’s induction process complicated and also meant there was an increased risk of inconsistencies in training.
The Solution
The Learning Rooms worked closely along with Sword Security to create a mobile first rapid eLearning course. The course consisted of 19 short topics which gave the recruits the basics before they could advance to training specific to their role. The online course also served as a refresher course for longer term employees. Topics in the online induction training for security staff include Crowd Dynamics, Lost Children and Dealing with Aggression.
