Driving Change at the Department of Justice
The Learning Rooms worked with the Department of Justice to develop a short eLearning course titled Driving Change to introduce their new change management framework.
About the Department of Justice
Department of Justice is an Irish government department committed to making Ireland a safer and fairer place to live, work, visit and conduct business. They have lead responsibility for public policy in respect of the security of the State and public safety, including the prevention and detection of crime.

The Challenge
The Department of Justice is navigating a significant transformation period, with change stemming from new legislation, civil service implementations and updated processes. To support staff through these transitions, the Department developed the DRIVE Change Framework. The key challenge was creating an engaging, concise course that would both introduce change management principles and inspire staff to embrace and utilise the new framework.
The Solution
The Learning Rooms worked with the Department of Justice to create a compact 20-minute rapid Driving Change eLearning course covering:
- Fundamentals of change management
- How the DRIVE Change Framework facilitates managing change
- Essential and practical resources
The DRIVE Change Framework is illustrated through an animated scenario featuring Jane, who guides her team through a major transition. The animation demonstrates how Jane applies the framework to effectively address change implementation challenges and successfully lead her team through the process.
From start to finish The Learning Rooms gave us a structured approach to build, design and develop an online learning module for our teams.
They took the time to understand the brief and collaboratively worked with us adding their learning expertise with a creative flair to deliver a quality end result in a timely and professional manner.
