The purpose of the cookies is to assist us in redesigning our website to ensure we provide relevant information in an easily accessible format. In order to track our interactions with prospective clients and customers, we use CRM software HubSpot. This is to help us to give a better service to our clients and customers. We track name and contact details and stages of the customer journey. HubSpot manages this information on our behalf. In this instance, we are the Data Controllers. HubSpot do not contact our clients or customers directly and is fully compliant with GDPR. You can read their privacy statement here.

    • To enable The Learning Rooms to monitor and analyse web traffic and can be used to keep track of user behavior.
    • Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of this website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the Data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

  • Contacting the user
    • By filling in the contact form with their data, the user authorises The Learning Rooms to use these details to reply to requests for information, quotes or any other kind of request as indicated by the form’s header.
    • Personal Data collected: company name, email address, first name, last name and phone number.
  • Learner data
    • Moodle is a secure learning management sysytem avaliable at https://learn.thelearningrooms.com. Within Moodle users complete online courses and participate in online discussion forums. User data is collected and reported on for certification purposes. Some user data is also avaliable to other users within the same course.
    • Personal Data collected: Name, email address, completion data, discussion forum posts.

  • Payment information
    • All payments are processed electronically through secure payment gateways, either Paypal or Wave. Both services employ encryption protocols to keep your personal information secure. The Learning Rooms is not responsible for any breach in confidentiality that results from a third party site.

Your Learning Management System

Where The Learning Rooms provide a Moodle LMS to an organisation, it will be necessary for The Learning Rooms to hold an Administrator account. The Administrator account grants access to your LMS to a designated contact who will use these privileges to set up, design and administer the system, This allows The Learning Rooms to fulfil our contractual obligations to you, our client. Such access will allow the administrator to view all learner data available on the LMS. Your confidentiality and those of your learners are a key priority for us. The administrator will not disclose any information on your LMS to other staff or pass on to third parties. They will not download, process or distribute this data unless specifically instructed by the client. For more information on Moodle LMS data, please refer to your contract with The Learning Rooms.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
