eXACT is our own methodology for building eLearning, and it shapes every rapid project we deliver. It stands for explore, architect, create and test.
- Explore. We work with your subject matter experts to define your learning outcomes and your audience.
- Architect. Our instructional designers plan the course content and structure directly in Rise, without media, giving you a clear view of the course before any visual design work begins.
- Create. Once you’ve signed off the content, our team adds the visual design, media and full interactivity to bring the course to life.
- Test. We test the finished course, including genuine screen reader testing, before it goes live.

A few questions we’re often asked about rapid eLearning.
How is rapid eLearning different from bespoke eLearning?
Rapid eLearning is built in Articulate Rise, using pre-built blocks that are natively responsive across every device. This makes it faster to produce and easier to update later. Bespoke eLearning is built in Articulate Storyline, giving full creative control over custom interactions and branching scenarios, but takes longer to build and update.
What does your rapid eLearning process actually look like?
We build the course content and structure directly in Rise first, without any media. Once you’ve signed off the content, we add the visual design, video, animation and voiceover. This means you’re reviewing and approving the substance of the course before any design work begins, so changes at this stage are quick and straightforward.
What tools do you use to build rapid eLearning?
We build using Articulate Rise 360, along with Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Vyond and other tools for video, animation and graphics.
Do you write the content, or do we need to provide it?
Either works. Some clients provide full content and subject matter expertise, and we handle the instructional design and build. Others prefer we lead on content creation too, working from source material and interviews with your subject matter experts.
Is rapid eLearning accessible?
Yes. Every rapid course is built and tested with accessibility in mind, including compatibility with assistive technologies and genuine screen reader testing before launch, not just automated checks.
How long does a rapid eLearning project take?
Rapid projects typically take four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope.
Can you build rapid eLearning for our existing LMS?
Yes. We build courses to SCORM and xAPI standards, so they’ll work with most learning management systems, and we can advise on compatibility if you’re unsure.
