Our story

In 2001, we began as SHR Consulting, with two employees offering HR consultancy and corporate bespoke training. With the Managing Director’s passion and vision for enhancing learning through technology, this was the genesis of our digital learning journey.

In 2003, we enter the eLearning market with the delivery of a performance management programme that was deployed across Irish government departments. It was an important milestone in the development of the business and was essentially a proof of concept at the time of scepticism around the efficacy of eLearning.

In 2006, we build our portfolio of clients as the business becomes established as a market leader in the learning space. To meet demand, our team continues to grow as we undertake more ambitious projects. Across government departments, local authorities and state agencies our solutions are making an impact.

In 2007, our big breakthrough! To combat an infection control crisis in the health sector, our eLearning solutions were responsible for turning the tide. Partnering with the Irish branch of the Infection Prevention Society we developed a suite of tailored programmes to different healthcare audiences nationwide.

In 2008, we formalise our credibility in blended learning solutions. In response to a demand for formal accreditation in learning, we successfully meet the standards as set by the Quality Qualifications Ireland to become a quality assured provider of courses leading to a QQI qualification.

In 2009, sees us move into the off-the-shelf eLearning market. We developed a range of interactive, engaging, ready-to-go eLearning solutions. These include a suite of scenario-based multimedia rich courses that were rolled out across the public and private sectors.
Simultaneously, the demand for our bespoke development solutions continues to grow among leading house-hold, blue chip, enterprise clients.

In 2018, we changed the game. While providing consultancy to a well-known Fintech client, we identified their need to enhance their in-house eLearning capabilities. In response, we introduced a unique solution to the market. Our eXcolo Toolkit, enables L&D teams internationally to build consistent and high-quality eLearning more rapidly than before.

In 2021, queue the applause. Building on our existing team, we double in size and enter new international markets. Our continued success in the digital learning space was recognised. The All Ireland Business Foundation awarded our team the title Ireland’s “Best in Class Digital Learning Company”. An accolade we won for three consecutive years.

Today, going from strength to strength! We continue our expansion, innovation and global reach. We thrive and strive in the ever changing digital learning industry. We continue to provide market leading solutions that benefit thousands internationally everyday.
