On 1 April 2021 The Learning Rooms will celebrate 20 years in business.
The Learning Rooms began life as SHRC or Strategic Human Resources Consulting. We were set up by Conor Hannaway on April Fool’s Day, 1 April 2001. Conor’s vision was to build a consultancy and training company that embraced technology, forward-thinking and innovation with a quality, client-driven service.
After two decades, The Learning Rooms is Ireland’s premier digital learning services company. We boast a broad range of partners and clients throughout the Irish public services, and private organisations both in Ireland and internationally. Over the years, our team of instructional designers and multimedia developers has grew. We have worked on topics as diverse as Electrical Safety, Dementia, Interviewing Skills, Sexual Literacy and many others.
Our face-to-face training and blended learning offering has also grown. Our presence is most significant within the Irish health sector. This is a result of our 15-year relationship as learning and development partner for the Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI). The Learning Rooms operate a panel of trainers and consultants who deliver management and soft skills training. In 2021, we offer short courses, blended learning as well as QQI accredited programmes.
The Learning Rooms are excited to be part of the eLearning industry for the next 20 years. We look forward to helping our clients adopt new approaches and learning technologies. We love to solve learning and development problems for our clients and to engage their workforce with creative and innovative learning solutions.
