On 1 April 2021 The Learning Rooms will celebrate 20 years in business.

The Learning Rooms began life as SHRC or Strategic Human Resources Consulting. Set up by Conor Hannaway on April Fool’s Day, 1 April 2001, Conor’s vision was to build a consultancy and training company that embraced technology, forward thinking and innovation wrapped up in a quality, client-driven service.

Today, driven by that same vision, The Learning Rooms service offering looks a little different:

• Blended learning programmes
• Bespoke eLearning development
• Off-the-shelf eLearning course catalogue
• eLearning templates and training
• Learning technology solutions

After two decades, The Learning Rooms is Ireland’s premier digital learning content developer. We boast a broad range of partners and clients throughout the Irish public services, and private organisations both in Ireland and internationally. Over the years, our team of instructional designers and multimedia developers have worked on topics as diverse as Electrical Safety on Wind Farms, Dementia, Interviewing Skills, Sexual Literacy and many others.

Our face-to-face training and blended learning offering has also grown. Our presence is most significant within the Irish health sector as a result of our 15 year relationship as learning and development partner for the Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI). The Learning Rooms now operate a growing panel of trainers and consultants who deliver management and soft skills training. In 2021, we now offer a range of short courses, blended learning as well as QQI accredited programmes, all of which can now be delivered virtually.

The Learning Rooms are excited to be part of the eLearning industry and to help it develop and evolve over the next 20 years. We look forward to helping our clients adopt new approaches and technologies to maximise learning and development within their organisations, and to engage their workforce with creative and innovative learning solutions.
