The Learning Rooms is proud to be a Patron Member of the Learnovate Centre, an international research centre based at Trinity College Dublin. Patron membership connects us with some of the biggest names in learning technology and gives us direct access to fresh thinking on digital learning innovation.
What is Learnovate?
Learnovate brings together employers, technology providers and researchers to explore where learning and work are heading. Members range from global brands like Microsoft and Cisco to public bodies and specialist training providers. Together they shape research on topics such as AI in learning, learner engagement and workplace skills.
What Patron membership means for digital learning innovation
As a Patron Member, The Learning Rooms takes part in Learnovate’s Thought Leaders Circle. We meet quarterly to discuss macro industry trends and emerging research. This gives us early sight of where learning and development is heading, well before it becomes common practice.
Being part of this community means we hear directly from researchers, technology providers and fellow employers about what is working and what is not. It keeps us connected to evidence based thinking rather than passing trends.
Why this matters for the wider industry
Research centres like Learnovate play an important role in the learning and development sector. They give organisations a shared space to test ideas, share data and challenge assumptions about how people learn at work. For employers and L&D teams, this kind of collaboration helps raise standards across the whole industry, not just for individual companies.
We are proud to support that work and to be part of a community that takes evidence and research seriously.
